Remove the four 3/8” x 3/4” hex bolts from the
front cover (Item 1)

50”, 60”, 66 “ Models - Remove the 3/8” x 3/4” hex
bolt from the top cover (Item 2)

74”, 84” Models - Remove the two 5/16” x 3/4”
hex bolts, flat washers, and lock nuts from the top
cover (Item 3)

Set aside the top and front covers.
Remove the set screws, and 1-1/4” bore sprockets
(Item 4) from the motor and fan shafts. Remove the
chain drive (Item 5)

Remove the four 1/2” X 2 1/4” hex bolts (Item 1)
[Figure 21] , four 1/2” flat washers, and four 1/2”
lock nuts from the mounting plate.
Remove the hydraulic motor and mounting plate
(Item 2)
[Figure 21] .

Bolt the PTO shield (Item 1) to the top of the gearbox
assembly using 1/4” lock nuts, flat washers, and
hex bolts (Item 2)
[Figure 22] .
Insert a 1/4” cotter pin through the hole in the
shield and through the hole at the bottom corner
of the gearbox. Hook the spring to the cotter pins
to hold the shield down.
