Allow to fully dry before re-fitting. Do not operate the appliance without the grease filter present as dirt could be
drawn in to the electronics and impair safe operation. If the filter cannot be sufficiently cleaned it should be
replaced with a new filter.
TROUBLESHOOTING
A)
COMMON PROBLEMS
No power supply on “beep” sound
o
Check power switch is on
o
Check power supply cable is properly inserted at plug and the conductors within the plug and
appliance are firmly connected
There is a “beep” sound at power on but the heat cannot be turned up
o
Place switch in the off position before turning the appliance on
Moving the switch between power settings does not change the number on the display
o
The switch is damaged, replace it
During normal operation the appliance stops responding; it automatically shuts down or the power
suddenly drops and then returns to normal
o
If no pan is detected, the appliance will automatically switch off. Turn the power off and on
again, normal operation will resume
o
The appliance has partially overheated. Check the grease filters are clean, and the air inlets and
outlets are not obstructed. Check the cooling fans are operating
The display shows “H”
o
The pan has become too hot. It is possibly dry. Add more food/liquid into the pot.
