Using power assisted pedalling
1.a - Quick start instructions for use
with instrument “A”
-
Turn the assisted pedalling system on,
by keeping the button “T1” pressed for
more than 2 seconds.
The display will show the starting page,
then it’ll pass to the main page.
- Select the assistance level.
- The EPAC bicycle is ready for use.
- To turn off the assisted pedalling system, keep
the button “
T1
” pressed for more than 2 sec-
onds.
2. REMOVING THE BATTERY
PACK FROM ITS SUPPORT
- Disconnect the connector from the battery
pack (fig. “54“).
- Completely unscrew the battery fixing screw
until you remove it (fig. “55“).
- Raise the battery pack until you release it from
its support and remove it (fig. “56“).
- Place the battery pack on a flat and dry surface.
Do not put the battery pack in
contact with water or other liq-
uids. If this happens, do not use
it and let it be checked by the re-
tailer.
3. CHARGE THE BATTERY PACK
3.a - Activating the battery pack
before use
The battery pack is supplied partially charged.
For this reason, it should be tested before recharg-
ing it.
- Press the button (1) to activate the battery.
· The four LEDs light up in sequence.
- Press the button (1), the LEDs light up for ap-
prox. 4 seconds, indicating the battery pack
charge level.
· If none of the LEDs light up it means that the
battery is completely discharged.
· If at least one LED lights up, the battery is at
least partially charged.
- Press the button (1) for 3 seconds to switch the
battery pack off.
- After a certain period of inactivity (approx. one
hour), the assisted pedalling system enters
“
SLEEP
” mode.
- To restart the system, it is necessary to press
button “
T1
” on the tool twice (at intervals of
one second).
1.b - Quick start instructions for use
with instrument “B”

Turn the assisted pedalling system on
by keeping the button (1) on the bat-
tery pack pressed for three seconds.
The four LEDs turn on in sequence and
the test page is shown on the tool dis-
play (2). The main page is displayed
right after.
- Select the assistance level.
- The EPAC bicycle is ready for use.
- After a certain period of inactivity, the assisted
pedalling system enters “
SLEEP
” mode.
- To reactivate it, it is necessary to keep the but-
ton (1) on the battery pack pressed for 3 sec-
onds.
- To turn the assisted
pedalling system
off, keep button (1)
on the battery pack
pressed for 3 seconds.
