Maintenance
Periodic cleaning of your new Pedestal fan is the only
maintenance that is needed.
When cleaning, use only a soft brush or lint free cloth to
avoid scratching the
fi
nish.
Abrasive cleaning agents are not required and should be
avoided to prevent damage to
fi
nish.
CAUTION
Do not use solvents when cleaning your Pedestal fan.
It could damage the motor or the blades and create the
possibility of electrical shock.

Restore electrical power to the fan by plugging in the
power cord. Use Only On
GFCI Protected Receptacles
.
Do NOT
use extension cord with this product.

Check the operation of the fan by gently pulling on the
pull chain switch. (Figure 1)

If airflow is desired in the opposite direction, turn the
fan off and wait for the blades to stop turning. Then slide
the reverse switch to the opposite position and turn fan
on again. Your fan model is equipped with a 4-position,
3-speed, pull chain switch. The operating sequence is as
follows:
1st Pull = HIGH
3rd Pull = LOW
2nd Pull = MEDIUM
4th Pull = OFF
Blade Cleaning
Plastic blades may be wiped down with a wet cloth or
sponge and household cleaner. Periodic light dusting of
the Woven Bamboo blades is recommended.
A feather duster will work best. Avoid using water,
cleansers, or harsh rags, which can warp and ruin the non-
plastic blades.
RECOMMENDED:
Periodically check that the fan motor unit screws, blade arm to motor assembly hub
screws, support shaft set-screws and
fi
ligree screws are tight and secure.
