Temporary Cable Horizontal Lifeline

User Instruction Manual

This manual is intended to meet the Manufacturer’s Instructions as required by the American National Standards 

Institute (ANSI) Z359 and should be used as part of an employee training program as required by the Occupational 

Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  

The FallTech SteelGrip® Temporary Cable Horizontal Lifeline (HLL) is designed as a 

temporary reusable anchorage subsystem for the attachment of up to two 

personal fall arrest systems (PFASs).  The FallTech SteelGrip® Temporary Cable

 

HLL described in this manual when used as instructed in this manual is OSHA 

1910.140 and 1926.502 compliant.
