Magnet:
Magnet for fixing the device in the holding
shell.
Loudspeaker:
Emits spoken instructions and war-
nings.
Main power switch:
Controls the main power
supply. Slide the switch to “ON” to switch on the
power supply. By sliding the switch to “OFF” you
also perform a hard reset on your device.
2. Description of the Falk
M-Series
device
We would like to congratulate you on purchasing your
mobile navigation system from Falk. In the explanations
given for all of the following topics, the hardware com-
ponents of the M-Series are repeatedly required and
they will now be presented with a brief description.
Front and back view
Battery charge indicator:
During the charging
process the charge indicator glows red. It glows
white when the battery has been fully charged.
Touch
screen:
Displays the Falk Navigator soft-
ware. Use your fingers or the stylus pen to tap on
the screen in order to select menu commands or
enter
data.
Attention:
Do not touch the display with sharp-
edged or pointed objects in order to avoid any
damage.

Top and bottom
On/off
switch:
Switches the device on or off when
you press it.
Note:
To switch on the device hold the
on/off
switch
for about
2 seconds
- to turn the device off,
hold
the
on/off
switvh for
3 seconds
.
Mini-USB
cable:
Socket for the USB cable for
connection to a PC or for connecting the car char-
ger
cable.
Mini SD slot:
Slot for receiving a Mini-SD
(Mini-Secure Digital) card with a memory capacity
of up to max. 2 GB.
Headphones socket/TMC antenna input:
Socket for headphones, socket for an external TMC
antenna.
