- Do not use the power adapter if its power cable is damaged.
- Never force a plug into a socket. If you are not able to push the plug into the socket easily, they are probably
not
compatible.
- When you pull the plug out of the socket, you must pull on the plug and not on the cable. Ensure that you are
easily able to reach at least one end of the power cable, so that if necessary you can quickly disconnect
the
device.
Battery
- Only use the original battery and the original car charger which is supplied with it. The original spare parts and
accessories which are approved by FMI are for your safety. If you use other parts, this may result in malfunctions
and/or severe damage and cancel FMI’s liability for the resulting consequences.
- This product works with a lithium-ion battery. Do not use it in a damp, wet and/or corrosive environment. You must
not place your product in or next to heat sources, at places which are subject to high temperatures or extreme
sunlight, in a microwave oven or an excess pressure container, store it or leave it there, and you must also not
expose it to any temperatures above 60°C (140°F). If you do not adhere to these guidelines, this may cause acid to
escape from the lithium ion, cause it to become hot, explode or catch fire and may cause injuries and/or damage.
You must not pierce, open or dismantle the battery. If the battery leaks and you come into contact with the liquids
which have leaked, thoroughly rinse the areas which have come into contact with water and consult a doctor
immediately. For safety reasons and in order to lengthen the lifetime of the battery, it will not charge at low
temperatures (below 0°C/32°F) or high temperatures (above 45°C/110°F).
