11. Press the [Enter] key on the operation panel.

The carriage moves to the cap position.

5.4 Changing Ink Types
This chapter explains the procedures to change the ink types.
Follow the procedures below to change the ink types for printing.
CAUTION
•
Insure that the ink does not get in your eyes or touches your skin when
handling the ink cartridge. If the ink gets in your eyes or touches the skin,
wash it in running water. Otherwise, it may cause a bloodshot eye or minor
inflammation. If any of those symptoms are seen, see a doctor immediately.
•
Do not disassemble the ink cartridge. This may cause the ink to get in the eyes
or touch the skin.
NOTE
•
Do not shake the ink cartridge hard. The ink may leak from the cartridge.
•
Do not disassemble the ink cartridge. The disassembled ink cartridge is no longer usable.
•
Refer to the following for the types and other details of the ink cartridge.
7.4 Options/Supply list
•
Use only Mutoh recommended ink cartridges for a replacement.
This printer is adjusted under the condition of using only the Mutoh recommended ink cartridges. Using other
types of ink cartridge may cause:

Faint printing or the ink can not be properly detected.
•
The warranty will not cover (repairs will require a fee) a breakdown.
