5.1 Faults that you, as a user, are allowed to rectify

Transmitter and receiver units have
different frequencies.
Set the channel switch to the
same position.
Transmitter and receiver units are

Switch on the transmitter and
receiver units.
Volume control is on zero.
Turn the volume control to the

Microphone is not connected.
Connect the microphone.
Batteries inserted incorrectly.
Insert batteries correctly. Ob-
serve the "+" and "–" signs!
Batteries are empty.
Replace or charge the batte-
ries.
Transmitter unit is too distant.
Place the transmitter unit closer
(within the range of 15 m).
Distortions, noise, crack-
ling, unwanted signals.
