8.5 GAS CONTROL BLOCK

8.3 DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING THE BURNER
8.3.1 Disassembly
- Turn off the gas.
- Open the door and remove the wood set.
- Unscrew the 5 screws from the wire gauze.
- Disconnect the burner control.
- Remove the bolts that hold the pilot unit in place.
- The burner can now be removed by lifting it up and out.
Note!
A sharp or heavy object can damage the burner unit.
Be particularly careful with the burner.
8.3.2 Assembly
Perform the steps above in the reverse order. Be sure that the rubber
ring is properly seated on the burner.
8.4 DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY OF THE PILOT UNIT
G pilot gas supply tube
K thermocouple cable
M spark cable
P fastening bolts
8.4.1 Disassembly
- Turn off the gas.
- Disconnect the pilot gas supply from the pilot unit.
- Remove the spark cable from the pilot unit.
- Disconnect the thermocouple cable from the control block.
- Remove the screws that hold the pilot unit in position.
- The pilot unit can now be removed.
Be careful not to damage the rubber vent tulle with the thermocouple
cable.
8.4.2 Assembly
Perform the steps above in reverse order. The pilot unit can only be
replaced by the type specified by FABER BV.
