Follow the instructions below for safety screen removal. 

!

1.  Loosen the coupling nuts from the screen brackets at 

the top using a small wrench or socket set.  
There are two coupling nuts per bracket. The front 

one.

2.  Push the top frame of the screen up until it clears the 

bottom of the opening. 

3.  Tilt the bottom of the screen out and pull down so the 

top frame clears the opening. 

reverse order. Ensure nuts are secured tightly.

The barrier is designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot viewing glass and is provided with this appliance. It 
must remain installed for the protection of children and other at-risk individuals.
