1) Take the rolling shutter up to the point where you require a higher sensitivity during detection of bolts or ice on the
guides (You can also set the whole rolling shutter travel)
Press both push-buttons at the same time for 4 seconds.
2) Release them for 1 second.
3) Press them at the same time for 1 second.
4) Release them for 1 second.
5) Press them at the same time for 1 second.
6) Release them for 1 second.
7) Hold down both push-buttons until a brief movement is performed in both directions to confirm you have entered
the advanced menu and the motor performs three brief movements in both directions.
8) Press 3 times the up and down push-buttons at the same time for 1 second and then press them again at the same
time until the motor performs a brief movement in both directions.
9) Press the up and down push-buttons at the same time for 1 second, press them again and hold them down until 1
brief movement is performed in both directions.
10) If the motor performs three brief movements in both directions, this means that the procedure was not performed
correctly and that you are still in the advanced menu. Repeat point 9.
6.3.1 INCREASING ICE AND FITTED BOLTS DETECTION SENSITIVITY
You can increase the detection sensitivity of fitted bolts or ice in an area between the down travel limit and a
chosen point.
In this area, if the presence of ice or bolts is detected, the motor response time is of 0.2 seconds. When the motor
detects the presence of ice or bolts, it changes to stop status and, to open the rolling shutter, you must send a down
command.
You can also join a torque reduction (see chapter 9.1) to the sensitivity increase function.
6.3.1.1 SETTING THE HIGH SENSITIVITY AREA
TAKE THE ROLLING SHUTTER TO THE POINT WHERE YOU REQUIRE A HIGH SENSITIVITY.
HIGH SENSITIVITY AREA
(Power to the motor is cut after the rolling shutter has been blocked for 0.2 seconds)
Down
travel limit
Up
travel limit
STANDARD SENSITIVITY AREA
(Power to the motor is cut after the rolling shutter has been blocked for 1 second)
THE HIGH SENSITIVITY AREA IS SET STARTING FROM THE DOWN TRAVEL LIMIT UP TO THE SELECTED POINT, AS DESCRIBED IN THE
PROCEDURE BELOW
