OPERATION
PREPARING THE UNIT
Unpacking and completing the assembly should
be done on a flat and stable surface, with enough
space for moving the machine and its packaging,
always making use of suitable equipment.
WARNING
Always unplug your machine from power source
before any adjustment.
To assemble the machine:
1. Assemble the four feet of the machine together,
using the bolts and nuts (Fig. 2). Assemble the
top plate of the feet.
2. Install the work table (B) as follows (Fig. 3):

Loosen both extension table lock knobs (A) and
slide the extension away from the table.
f
Position the table as to allow the blade to slide
into the table slot. Slide the blade through the
slot in the table and then place the table onto the
bandsaw pivot (C).
f
Align the four mounting holes (D) of the table
with the ones in the pivot.
f
Fasten the table to the pivot using the four bolts.
3. Install guide rail (A) to the front of table (Fig. 4).
Secure the guide rail using the four lock knobs
(B) under the table.
4. Fit the rip fence assembly (A) onto the guide rail
and table (Fig. 5). The fence body should engage
the guide rail (B). Lock the fence by lowering the
lock handle (C). If the rip fence is not parallel to
the miter slot:

Position fence next to miter slot and lock rip
fence. Loosen cap screw (D).
f
Adjust fence body so it is parallel to the miter
slot.
f
Retighten cap screw.
5. Install the miter gauge (A) as follows (Fig. 6):
f
Place the t-slot bar of the miter gauge into the
miter gauge slot (B) in the table on the right side
of the blade.
f
To adjust the angle of miter gauge, loosen lock
handle (C) and rotate gauge body. Tighten lock
handle.
f
Use a square to verify that the 90˚ setting on the
scale is 90˚ to the slot. Adjust pointer (D) if nec -
essary.
WARNING
Before plugging in the tool, always check to see that
the switch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the "OFF" position when released. Do not press the
switch trigger hard without pulling in the lock button,
as this can cause switch breakage. Operating a tool
with a switch that does not actuate properly can lead
to loss of control and serious personal injury.
NOTE
The installed electric motor is completely wired ready
for operation. The customer‘s connection to the pow -
er supply system, and any extension cables that may
be used, must conform with local regulations. Check
electrical connection cables regularly for damage.
Make sure the cable is disconnected from the mains
when checking. The mains voltage must coincide with
the voltage specified on the motor’s rating plate. The
connection to the mains must be protected with an
appropriate slow acting fuse and only a socket with
the properly installed ground contact must be used.
OPERATING THE UNIT
WARNING
For your own safety, keep the machine switch in off
position while performing any of the below adjusting
procedures. Machine should be turned on, only if a
specific step of the procedure states so and only for
that particular step.
To adjust the table at 90˚ to the blade:
NOTE
The table stop (Fig. 7.C) is set at the factory to stop
the table at 90˚ (perpendicular) with the blade.
