Operation precautions
There are certain precautions that should be taken during the operation of your KateZ Lift. Read and
follow these precautions carefully in order to ensure safe KateZ Lift operation and to prevent injury
and/or product damage.
•
Do not place anything (for example, a drinking glass) on top of the KateZ Lift housing box.
•
Periodically check the hand control and all cords for visible damage.
•
Keep the KateZ Lift and its hand control away from all heated surfaces.
•
Ensure the hand control is out of the way before sitting in the wheelchair.
•
Do not allow children to play on or operate the KateZ Lift. Only the intended user should
operate the KateZ Lift.
•
Always leave the KateZ Lift in a lowered position when not in use.
•
PROHIBITED! Make sure area under the KateZ Lift is clear of obstructions, including pets and
small children while in operation.
•
WARNING! Do not use the KateZ Lift next to any table or object that may prevent the KateZ
Lift from reaching its full height and potentially pinch or squeeze the user.
•
WARNING! Prevent the risk of electrical shock, fire, falls, and/or being pinched. Follow all
instructions and precautions provided.
•
WARNING! Use the KateZ Lift only on flat, stable ground. Do not use KateZ Lift near ledges,
steps or uneven ground.
