HDMI Input Card (all models)
The HDMI input cards are installed immediately to the left of the SDI cards in the card
frame of a Quantum Elite. On the Quantum Connect models, HDMI input cards are
preinstalled and cannot be removed or replaced. They are HDCP-compliant when used
with Quantum HDMI output cards and HDCP-compliant displays. Connect one or two
HDMI video or graphics sources to the input connectors on this card. The two HDMI
connectors are identical and can be used interchangeably. They provide down-scaling of
sources as required.
NOTE:
The HDMI connectors also support DVI signals. Appropriate HDMI to DVI
cables or adapters are required for DVI signal input on this card.
•
Input connectors:
The HDMI input card has two female HDMI type A connectors.
•
Cables:
HDMI single or dual link video cables are recommended for this HDMI
connection, 25 feet (7.6 meters) maximum. (Dual link signals are not supported.)
•
HDCP Compliance LEDs:
The HDMI input card contains two tri-color LEDs (one
for each connector) that light to indicate the HDMI source signal status and HDCP
compliance:
