Quantum Elite 408 and Quantum Connect:
1.
Unlatch and lower the front access panel.
2.
Press and release the bottom section of the front panel vertical Power rocker
switch.
While the system is powering up, the 0 in the LCD window to the right of the
hard drive blinks. When the processor is completely powered up, the LCD stops
blinking and remains lit steadily.

If a keyboard, mouse, and monitor are connected to the Quantum, the Control Panel
boots up. When the system is completely powered up, the Control Panel screen is
displayed.
Powering off
If the Control Panel is not being used, turn off power to the Quantum processor as
follows:
•
Quantum Elite 615:
Press the O section of the horizontal Power rocker switch.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to turn off the switches on the two PSUs. They can
remain set to On.
•
Quantum Elite 408 and Quantum Connect:
Press and hold the bottom section of
the Power rocker switch until power is off.
TIP:
If a monitor is connected to the Quantum and is displaying the Control
Panel, shut down the processor via the Control Panel (see
Summary of Contents for Quantum Connect 82
