VIII. Maintenance
and Repair
•
The compressor pump does not require any special
maintenance during the course of its lifetime.
REPLACEMENT OF THE FUSE
•
Models CC 140 and CC 160 have a socket on their power
cord with an inserted 15 A fuse. If this fuse burns, flip
open the fuse cover, take the fuse out of the socket and
insert a new fuse into the socket, see fig.8.
•
Before replacing the fuse, disconnect the power cord
from the power source.

If cleaning is necessary, use a damp cloth dipped in
a detergent solution, prevent water from entering the
power tool. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents
and solvents. This would result in damage to the plastic
housing of the product.
•
For warranty repairs, please contact the vendor from
whom you purchased the product and they will organi-
se repairs at an authorised service centre for the Extol®
brand. For a post warranty repair, please contact the
authorised service centre of the Extol® brand directly
(you will find the repair locations at the website at the
start of this user‘s manual).
IX. Waste disposal
•
Throw packaging materials into a container for the
respective sorted waste.
•
Do not dispose of unserviceable commo-
dities in household waste, but dispose of
them in an environmentally safe manner.
According to Directive 2012/19 EU, elect-
rical appliances must not be thrown out
with household waste, but rather handed over for
ecological disposal at an electrical equipment disposal
point. You can find information about collection points
and collection conditions at your local town council
office.
V. Ending work
and storage
After finishing work, disconnect the compressor from
the power source and unscrew or remove the air hose
end from the valve.
Put the compressor in a dry place that is out of reach
of children. Protect it against humidity and moisture,
water, unfavourable climatic effects, radiant heat
sources and direct sunlight.
VI. Supplementary safety
instructions
•
Do not use the compressor pump for purposes other
than those for which it is intended nor modify it in any
way for any other purpose.
•
For both its use and its repair, only use original spare
parts.
