Thanks to the very slow self-discharge of the Li-ion battery, the battery remains ready
for use even long after it has been charged. Furthermore, the Li-ion battery can be
recharged at any time, regardless of its charge level without reducing its capacity.
The battery is equipped with protection against full discharge, which
damages it. This protection prevents the battery voltage from falling
below a certain value that is damaging to it.
