Re-lubricate the activation plunger using 1 drop of sterile mineral oil, and exercise the
lever in the ON position until it is no longer “tacky”
O-Ring on Hand
Piece appears worn
•
Normal wear of the O-ring is expected. The O-ring will be replaced during the annual
Preventive Maintenance.
Pneumatic Hose
difficult to connect
to hand piece
•
Lubricate the O-ring prior to connecting the air hose with sterile mineral oil. This will
help make the female end of the air hose easier to attach to the male end of the hand
piece using the toggle barbs. Do not bend hose at a 90
o
angle at the connection site.
Do not use excessive force during the process.
