11. Troubleshooting
You can apply the following potential solutions yourself, taking into considera-
tion the safety instructions.
Error messages appear in the display. At the same time, a beeper function is ac-
tivated. A distinction is made between appliance errors and operator errors.

E0
Water boiler not inserted, calcified or
defective.
Insert, descale or replace water boiler.
No water in water boiler.
Fill the water boiler. It may take some minutes for the
error message E0 to disappear.
Appliance defective!
Switch off appliance and pull out mains plug. Notify
Customer Service.
Error message
E1
Warm-up phase takes longer than
180 seconds.
Fill with hot water.
Water boiler is calcified.
Descale the water boiler.
Seals are calcified or defective.
Clean or replace the seals.

to
E7
Appliance defective!
Switch off appliance and pull out mains plug. Notify
Customer Service.
Fill level display in water
boiler is difficult to read:
Water boiler is calcified.
Descale the water boiler.
The appliance does not heat
up.
Water boiler is inserted incorrectly.
Check the position of the water boiler in the appli-
ance.
Water boiler is calcified or defective. Descale or replace the water boiler.
Cover is open.
Close the cover.
Water boiler connection is defective! Switch off appliance and pull out mains plug. Notify
Customer Service.
Steam rising from housing.
Seals are calcified.
Clean the seals.
Seals are defective!
Replace the seals.
Seals are missing.
Insert the seals.
Water boiler
is defective!
Replace the
water boiler.
The hair steamer P71 is drip-
ping, the ST5 tripod is wet /
the condensate trap over-
flows during treatment.
Condensate trap is incorrectly insert-
ed or full.
Check the position of the condensate trap in the ap-
pliance or empty it.
Water boiler is defective!
Replace the water boiler.
The oval seal is calcified, defective or
missing.
Descale or replace the oval seal.
