6. Fill the water boiler with hot water and add a commercially available desca-
ling agent:
-
Comply with the instructions of the descaling agent manufacturer.

Allow the descaling solution several hours to work.

Repeat the procedure, if necessary.
7. Thoroughly rinse out the water boiler several times.

Cleaning the housing / condensate trap
The housing and moving parts of the appliance are made from robust, low-
maintenance materials. You avoid discolouration if you remove product resi-
dues immediately or directly after the treatment.
Do not use petrol, paint thinner, abrasive cleaners or scouring agents for clean-
ing the housing and condensate trap.
1. Clean the appliance with a damp (not wet) cloth.
2. Remove the condensate trap from the appliance and empty, rinse and
clean.

Cleaning / replacing the seals
1. Carefully clean dirty / calcified seals with a damp (not wet) cloth.
2. Check seals for cracks or damage and replace, if necessary.

Seals of the water boiler
1. Remove seals that are defective or very dirty.
2. Place the new round seal and press it into the groove.
3. Place the new oval seal with the wide side facing outwards and press it into
the groove.
4. Check that the seals fit securely.
5. Fill the water boiler with water and insert it into the appliance.
CAUTION! – Risk of property damage

Do not insert the water boiler into the appliance and do not operate the ap-
pliance if the seals are missing, not properly fitted or damaged.
