8. With the deck in the lowest position and the hopper
closed, look underneath the hopper and the measure
length of the upper tube protruding into the hopper
(see Figure 17). If the upper tube extends more than
3 inches (7.6 cm) into the hopper, then the excess
length must be removed. Determine the excess
length and remove the upper tube. Create marks,
apply masking tape around the tube as a guide, and
carefully cut and discard the length that is over 3
inches (7.6 cm). Reassemble the tubes as indicated
in step 7.

9. Drill three 7/32 inch diameter holes in the lower
tube using the upper tube holes as reference.
10. Remove the tubes from unit and assemble the upper
and the lower tubes using three 1/4-20 x 3/4 inch
screws and three 1/4 inch nyloc nuts. Install the
screws on the inside of the tube to provide minimum
obstruction to flow.
Install the Bags
Open the hopper and install the bags. Close the hopper
and stretch the rubber latch over the hold down rod.
