Adjusting the Parking Brake
Re-adjust the parking brake on your mower as outlined
in the “Adjusting the Parking Brake” procedure in the
Maintenance section of the tractor Operator's manual.
Installing the Hopper Mount
Brackets
1. Loosen the front 5/16-18 x 2 3/4 inch bolt on the
LH and RH rear panels (item 7 in Figure 2).

2. Remove and retain the rear 5/16-18 x 2 3/4 inch bolt
and 5/16 inch flanged nyloc nut on both brackets.
3. Install the RH hopper mount bracket by placing the
front slot (item 6) onto the bolt (item 7) that was
loosened in step 1.
4. Reinstall the rear 5/16-18 x 2 3/4 inch bolt and 5/16
inch flanged nyloc nut. Install the 5/16-18 x 1 inch
bolt and 5/16 inch flanged nyloc nut in the upper
hole.
5. Tighten the front 5/16-18 x 2 3/4 inch bolt.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for the LH hopper mount
bracket.
Installing the Hydro Bracket (60
Inch Deck)
1. Remove and discard the rear hydro mounting bolts
and nuts.
2. Using two 5/16–18 x 6 1/2 inch screws, four 5/16
spring disc washers, and two 5/16 flanged nyloc
nuts, mount the hydro bracket under the hydros as
shown in Figure 3.

Installing the Hopper Frame
Note:
On Quest SP Units: It may be easier to install
the hopper onto the hopper frame before performing
the following steps.
1. Remove the hairpin from the hopper frame. Insert
the hopper frame into the LH hopper mount bracket
(see Figure 4). Rest the other end of the hopper
frame between the tabs on the RH hopper mount
bracket. Reinstall the hairpin to secure the hopper
frame.
Note:
If the hopper frame does not seat properly in
the mount brackets, carefully use the hopper frame
to slightly adjust the alignment of the brackets.
