Cleaning the Optical Connector

3.

On the front panel, lift the protective cap. Do not disassemble the bulkhead adapter.

4.

Gently clean the connector end, with the following instructions:

4a.

Hold the can of compressed air upright and spray the can into the air to purge any 
propellant.

4b.

Spray the clean compressed air on the connector to remove any loose particles or 
moisture.

5.

Clean the fiber end using your cleaning tool.

6.

Spray the clean compressed air on the connector again to remove any loose particles or 
isopropyl alcohol.

7.

Check that the connector is clean with a fiberscope (or similar).
