RFL-K-Test
The page allows you to set the following parameters:
Select Cable
button opens a new page that allows you to set the cable
parameters for the current test. Refer
page 212 for more information.
Save Test
button opens a new page that allows you to save a snapshot
of test results into a result file. Refer
information.
Based on the cable condition, corresponding values are added into the
diagram at their specific positions. Test result measurement units are
dependent on
Standard
in

/

. The
RFL-K-Test
diagram can display some of the following elements:
R/A-T/B-G/E wire connectors.
Distance/resistance to strap (DTS/RTS): distance/resistance from
the FTB-1 to the strap (far end).
Distance/resistance from fault to strap (DFTS/RFTS).
Distance/resistance to fault (DTF/RTF): distance/resistance from
the FTB-1 to the fault.
Faults are displayed as follows:
Defective Cable (DC).
Resistance at fault (Rf1, Rf2): resistance from the fault to the
resistance wire.
Voltage at fault (Vf1, Vf2).
Note:
There need not be 2 faults (Rf1, Rf2). If there is only one fault, the K-Test
reduces to the
RFL-2-Wire
case.
