Impulse Scope Test
The page opens to the time-domain graph by default, with the frequency
domain graph insert, and displays the following parameters:
Edit Parameters
button opens a new page that allows you to set the
test parameters.
Edit Thresholds
button opens a new page that allows you to set the
Impulse Scope Threshold
.
Graph Settings
button opens a new page that allows you to set
parameters for the
Impulse Scope
main graph and graph insert. Here,
you may also disable the graph insert, and choose to view either the
time or frequency domain graph.
Save Test
button opens a new page that allows you to save a snapshot
of test results into a result file. Refer to
information.
Voltage Threshold
determines when impulse events are displayed or
captured (trigger level) based on the Peak voltage level of the event(s).
The
Voltage Detection Level
, set in the
Threshold
page above, is
displayed.
Capture Window
provides a drop-down list that allows you to select
the x-axis display window width.
IST
(Impulse Separation Time) specifies the time interval between
successive impulses. Some impulse events comprise many sub-pulses
or a pulse-train. Use a larger IST to capture longer events of many
sub-pulses, or a smaller IST between events to capture fast sub-pulses
as separate impulse events.
Toggle
graph control icon allows you to switch between graphs on
the page, making the graph insert larger and the main graph into the
graph insert. You can also double tap the small windows to toggle
between large and small graphs.
