5.4.
Connecting the Resuscitator Mechanism to
the User Interface (UI)
See figure below for the UI connections and Section 4.2.
for component ID numbers.
Step 1.
Attach the Resuscitator Mechanism Motor
Power Connector cable and Encoder/Limit
Connector (22) to the UI.
Step 2.
Connect the UI 110V AC power supply cord
(20) to the Power connector and the Hospital-
Supplied Uninterruptible Power Supply.
Step 3.
Plug in the Remote Display (21).

CAUTION
The Alberta E-Vent weighs less than 20 lbs and
has potential pinch points. Employ safe lifting
procedures when handling.
