It is possible to reinstall a B3. This is useful if you have unintentionally de-

stroyed something, have had a disk crash or wish to exchange the disk drive.

You will need a USB stick or external USB-hard drive to perform a software

installation. Please notice that your memory stick must have a partition table.

Unfortunately most available USB memories lack a partition table today. So if

you experience install problems this is most likely the case, try another stick or

a USB-hard drive.

stick with a partition table and the latest released software.

Your B3’s hard drive has 3 partitions: System partition, Data partition and Swap

partition. It is totally normal that you do not se the total disk size (i.e. 500GB

, 1TB or 2TB) available in the web interface as the System partition and the

Swap partition takes some of the space.

1. Download the recovery image at:

2. Insert the USB memory stick (minimum size 512 MByte) in to your PC and

format it, select FAT32 as file system. The USB stick must have a partition

table.
