You may search by Share name or Ring name, filter by source/target or NFS/SMB to filter the
visible shares for easier navigation.

Select the appropriate share.

On the right-hand navigation select 'Actions' and then 'Promote'.

Confirm the desired shares and Click 'Next'.

Ensure the correct IP address and port information is correct. Click 'Finish.'

You will be prompted for OneSystem password or one-time password if two step verification is
enabled. Click 'Verify.'

The read only Secondary Shares will now become read/write as of the last recovery point. It's
important to note that all other instances of the replicated shares on different OneBlox Rings will
remain as read only, in addition to the share that was read/write before step 4 in this process.

To stop or resume remote replication for a given share

Either from the 'Overview' or after selecting one of the OneBlox Rings, on the left hand
navigation, select 'Shares and Exports.'
2.
You may search by Share name or Ring name, filter by source/target or NFS/SMB to filter the
