Upgrade instructions for Xesar 2.2 systems to Xesar 3.0

Please note the text fields highlighted in yellow for the upgrade labelled as: "For upgrades
from Xesar 2.2 to Xesar 3.0 only".

For upgrades from Xesar 2.2 to Xesar 3.0 only

Proceed as follows to upgrade the Xesar software from Xesar 2.2 to Xesar 3.0:

•

Insert your Admin Card into the slot of the coding station and load the data from
your Xesar 2.2 system (see section 6.1 Xesar Installation Manager, step 8; load-
ing the Admin Card)

•

Import your Xesar 2.2 database file when adding a new system.

Attention: The following items are important for an upgrade from Xesar 2.2
to Xesar 3.0:

•

For the X2.2 data import, the personal firewall must always allow mounting or it
may not block the required ports.
