The system creates a maintenance task.
>
Update the locking component using a smartphone with activated maintenance mode
or coding station.
The maintenance task will consequently disappear from the list and the share will ful-
ly come into effect.
As soon as you have added the shared locking component, the locking component is
listed in the "Locking system" column of the locking component list with the "external"
attribute. Each client that added the locking component can view the locking component
details, but only edit the "Alternative door designation" information. You can also assign
access authorisations for shared locking components.
You can view the block protocol for the shared locking component if proto-
col data has been activated. Depending on the settings during import of the
shared locking component the personal data of the other client may be
available or not.
External locking components cannot be shared with other locking systems.
10.3
Assigning authorisations for shared locking components
Within each AirKey locking system to which the authorised locking component was add-
ed, the process to assign authorisations differs marginally to that for owners of the lock-
ing components. Proceed as follows if you have added a shared locking component to
your system.

In the main menu, select
Media & Persons > Media
.

Select the desired medium from the overview list.

If the medium has been assigned to a person, an overview of authorisations for this
medium appears.
>
Select the
external
tab
below the list with areas and doors to show all added lock-
ing components from external systems.
