The system creates maintenance tasks for the affected locking components, indicating
that they must be updated.

Update the corresponding locking components.
The maintenance task will consequently disappear from the list and you have com-
pleted cancelling the locking component from the area.

After having updated, persons with media featuring authorisations for this
area will be unable to unlock the locking component for which you cancelled
the assignment.

Alternatively, you can also directly edit the area assignments of locking
components in the locking component details. Please refer to the

Editing

locking components

section for more detailed information.
