Bevel Stop Adjustment
• Ensure that the Cutting Head is in the locked down
position with the latching pin fully engaged in its socket.
(see Fig. A pg 11)
• Ensure that the Cutting Head is upright, against its stop and
the bevel pointer is indicating 0
0
on the scale.
(Fig. 11)
• Loosen Bevel Lock Handle.
• Place the Engineers Square on the table with one edge
against the table and the other edge against the blade
(avoiding the TCT tips).

• If the blade is not exactly 90

square with the mitre table
adjustment is required.
• Loosen the two (2) socket headed cap screws on the rear of
the Bevel arm
(Fig. 13)
• Use two screwdrivers, one inserted into the socket containing
the LH (Left Hand) set screw, with the other inserted into the
socket containing the RH (Right Hand) set screw.
(Fig. 14)
• Allow the screwdrivers to engage with the set screws.
• Turn one of the screws very slightly as if loosening it, whilst at
the same time tightening the other by the same amount.
• The Bevel arm will move slightly, to the right or left, depending
upon which direction the set screws are being turned.
• The operator should check frequently the alignment of the
blade with the square.
• When accurate alignment has been achieved, tighten the two
(2) cap screws at the rear of the Bevel arm.
