5. SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION – These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service
personnel only. To reduce risk of electric shock do not perform any servicing
instructions in this section of the manual unless you are qualified to do so.
CAUTION – Equipment for use only in locations where children not likely to be
present.
CAUTION – Danger of explosion if battery incorrectly replaced, replace only
with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose
of used batteries according to manufacturer instructions or local ordinance.

CAUTION – To reduce the risk of electric shock, grounding of the ground pin of
the mains plug must be maintained.
5.1. INSTRUCTIONAL SAFEGUARDS
Each EMX series device should have the following warning labels attached as instructional safeguards.
5.1.1. IEC 60417-5041 Hot Surface
The flat surface with waved line symbol is intended to alert the user that surface may be hot and should
not be touched without taking care.

Do Not Touch
