User name
: Input the user’s login ID if the SMTP server requires authentication.
Password
: Input the user’s login password if the SMTP server requires authentication.
Receiver Address
: Input the e-mail addresses for receiving an e-mail message when an EVENT is
enabled and triggered. Please use “

” to separate multiple addresses.
Sender Address
: Input the sender’s e-mail address, so that the receiver can recognize the sender
when an Event message is received.
Attach Image
: Check this box if you want to attach an image when an alarm is triggered or an IP
camera detects events.
This server requires a secure connection (SSL)
: Check this box to enable the SSL function. Enable
this function means you can access the camera through the SSL protocol that provides
communication security over the Internet.
Send Test Email
: Click the
Test
button to send a testing email to the assigned address.
Click
Apply
to apply the changes or
Cancel
to cancel the changes and return to the previous
settings.

Set FTP Server
】
The settings relating to the FTP server used to transmit the alarm recordings can
be configured here. Note that to enable uploading recordings to the FTP server function, you have
to check the
Upload to FTP
item on the Event dialog box (see
7.8.1 Event Settings)
.
Note:
When network or FTP server failure occurs, the FTP uploading cannot be performed, the
recordings will be stored in the on-camera SD card. The FTP uploading will resume after network or FTP
server is recovered.
