Installing the Carrier without the Convenience
Base (cont.)
•
NEVER
use this child restraint in forward-facing position.
•
DO NOT
use this carrier if it moves more than 2.5 cm
(1 in.) side-to-side or front to back at the vehicle belt
path. Serious injury or death may occur. Move the child
restraint to another seating location, or try to tighten
the vehicle belt again.
The vehicle belt must be as tight as possible. Put your full weight
into the seat as you tighten the vehicle belt. If you can move the
child restraint more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) side-to-side or front to
back at the vehicle belt path, the vehicle belt is not tight enough,
and you need to try again.
