If two or more ports have the same prefix then the Gateway will divide the calls between the
ports.

(Optional) You can modify the dialing number received from the SIP which the Gateway uses to
dial out by using the following parameters:
Remove Prefix
- Select how many digits to remove from the beginning of the dialed number.
Add Prefix
- Enter the digits to be added at the beginning of the number.

In
Prefix Type
select one of the following options:
Include
- to only call the prefixes that included in the table
Exclude
- to only call the prefixes that are excluded from the table

(Optional) In the
General
section you can configure the following settings:
Active
- This enables outgoing calls from the selected port.
Start Delay
- This value in seconds is the delay time after registration until the start of calls.
Connect Time
- This defines when the voice from the called party is connected. There are
three options:
Very early
- (default) From
Alerting
the called party
Early
- From
Ringing
of the called party
Normal
- From
Connect
of the called party

HANDLING INCOMING CALLS
To handle incoming calls:
1)
From the Main Toolbar, click
Ports
.
2)
Select a port from the list on the left.
3)
Select the
Prefixes
tab. A prefix table for the selected port is displayed.

In
Incoming Calls Handle
select the operation mode for each port:
Dial Tone
- All calls that come to this port receive a dial tone when calling any other port.
Blocked
-
All calls that come to this port are blocked. The caller hears a busy signal.
Destination Number
- All calls that come to this port are automatically routed to a number
according to the
Incoming Calls Destination
mode.
IVR
- All calls that come to this port receive the IVR message. For details, see
IVR
on page 56.

This section describes how to configure the ports to automatically route incoming calls to predefined
destination numbers.
To route incoming calls to predefined numbers:
