5. USE OF THE MACHINE
5.1. PREREQUISITES FOR THE MACHINE
• Check the hydraulic oil level (1) .
• Check motor oil level (2) .
• Check compressor oil level (3) and the compressor belt tension .
• Check the lubrication of the bearings:
- motor for the hopper (5)
- motor and rolling for the mixer (6 & 7) and mixer grid rollers (8)
• Check the cylinder axis greasing (9) .
Any foreign object should be in the hopper or the mixer (trowel, tools, etc.).
The machine is delivered with a 30 metres long hose, this length is optimized to
obtain the best performance in normal conditions of use.
In case of a longer hose, it is essential to check the good running of the unit.
The increase of the hose length may lead from a reduction of flow rate to a flow rate
shut-off (too much friction loss in the hose).
Friction loss in the hose is proportional to its length and to the product viscosity.
In some cases, it will be necessary to use a pump that gives a higher pressure to
compensate this loss. Whenever possible, a dilution of the filler and a higher pump
pressure will permit a better discharge in the hoses.
