Operating Instructions
Setting the time of day
When the steam oven is first connected the minutes time display will flash. This will only flash for 10
seconds and then return to a static ‘time of day’ display. If this happens, to set the clock hold the
key for 2 to 3 seconds and the minute time display will start to flash. Within 10 seconds, hold either the
or
key down to reach the time of day. These keys can pressed one touch at a time which will
slowly progress the numerals or if the finger remains depressed on the key it will increase or decrease very
quickly to reach the desired time of day.
Preparing the oven for use
NOTE:
During the manufacturing process some oil residue may remain of the heating elements. These oils
may omit an unpleasant odour when first used so we recommend the following ‘burning off’ procedure to
reduce these odours from being present during cooking. The odour will be present during this procedure.
1) Press the Main on/off switch
, the display will show the time of day.

Burning off the fan forced element
- Press the Programme mode key

twice to display the fan forced
function
, this will default to 200ºC and duration time of 1.00 hour. Press the Timer key
followed by
the Minus key
to decrease the time to 0.40 minutes. Press OK / confirmation key
followed by the
Start / stop key
to start the oven. Finally press the Rapid heat-up key
to speed up the heating time.

Burning off the top heating element

Programme mode key

The steam oven features a child safety lock enabling the user to make the oven inoperable. This will
deactivate the ovens touch keys from being used. The child safety lock has to be deactivated to function
the oven for cooking.
Activating the Child safety lock
Press and hold finger on OK/confirmation key
for 2 seconds
