If you have included an optional
3.75G
/
HSPA module
in your purchase option fol-
low the instructions
on page 7 - 46
to install the USIM card (which will be provided
by your service provider), and then install the application.
Before installing the application, make sure that the 3.75G/HSPA
module is on.
Use
the
Fn +
key combination

to toggle power to the 3.75G/HSPA module

available for this series of
computer models. Each
module is supplied with the
appropriate application
software.
The module type supplied
may depend upon the com-
puter model purchased.
Check with your service
center for details.
Install the driver from the
Drivers Installer menu and
check the instructions for
the appropriate application
on the following pages.
Important Notice - 3.75G/HSPA & Bluetooth/Wireless LAN Modules
In order to comply with FCC regulations you should NOT operate the 3.75G/HSPA module
and the Bluetooth/Wireless LAN modules at the same time as this may disrupt radio fre-
quency, and cause interference. When the 3.75G/HSPA module is powered on, make sure
that the Bluetooth/Wireless LAN modules are powered off.
Wireless Device Operation Aboard Aircraft
The use of any portable electronic transmission devices aboard aircraft is usually prohibit-
ed. Make sure the module(s) are OFF if you are using the computer aboard aircraft.
Use the

key combination to toggle power to the HSPA modem module, and
check the indicator to see if the module is powered on or not (see
