3. Intended Use
The weather station can receive DCF time signals to automatically synchronize time and date.
Time and date can be also set manually. The device can display indoor and outdoor temperature
and humidity. The device has atmospheric pressure readings, bar chart display of atmospheric
pressure changes, trend display of temperature and humidity, and indicators for weather
forecast, moon phases.
The device can also store indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity of the past 24 hours, and
maximum/minimum indoor and outdoor temperature. Two alarms with snooze function are
integrated.
The weather station comes with a wireless outdoor sensor which is used to measure temperature
and humidity. Data measured by the outdoor sensor are transmitted to the weather station. Both
weather station and outdoor sensor are powered by two type AA batteries (not included).
The outdoor sensor has an ingress protection rating of IPX3 and is protected from splashing
water at any angle up to 60° against the front casing.
The weather station is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with
moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, fires, or other hazards. Read the instructions
carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together
with its operating instructions.
