8. Installation
The product should be powered by non-rechargeable 1.5 V AA batteries. Rechargeable
AA batteries cannot be used as they only provide 1.25 V.
a) Prepare Outdoor Sensor
The outdoor sensor can measure and display temperature and humidity, then transmit measured
data to the weather station.

Insert batteries into the outdoor sensor
The outdoor sensor is powered by two type AA batteries (not included).
• Remove the battery compartment cover, and insert two type AA batteries matching polarities
as shown inside the battery compartment
(F)
. Then close the battery compartment cover.
The LCD will turn on after the batteries are inserted. The selected sensor channel will
show along with alternating temperature and humidity values.

Select a channel
When using more than one sensor (maximum 3), each sensor should be set to a different
channel.
• Remove the battery compartment cover.
• Slide the channel selection switch
(E)
to a channel number position (1, 2 or 3), then press
the
button
(C)
to activate that channel.

• Close the battery compartment cover.
After changing a channel on the outdoor sensor, press the
RESET
button
(C)
or reload
the batteries to activate that channel.
