For fine calibration:
1. Complete coarse calibration.
2. Using strobe tach measure asphalt pump shaft speed in RPM.
3. Multiply RPM by 0.61 to get calculated GPM.
4. Turn calibration until calculated GPM matches pump tach.
For coarse calibration:
Instructions for calibrating pump speed for units
with 309 pulses per gallon only (hydraulic motor
#6603157 with 4.39 to 1 ratio gearbox).

Remove wrench
and reinsert with
wrench leg
directly on top of
mounting thread.

Turn calibration
counterclockwise
until parallel with
both mounting
threads.
Setting
“8”

Select setting 8
on back of
pump tach.

Using 5/64 inch
or 2 mm hex
wrench turn
calibration fully
clockwise.
