Residual heat indicator
Residual heat is indicated with an ‘H’ for each cooking zone on the
glass cooktop. This indicates that the cooking zone is still warm and
goes out once the glass cooktop has reached a safe temperature.
Timer function
When the hob is switched on, you can set a separate timer for each
cooking zone (from 1 to 99 minutes).
1. Place a pan on a cooking zone.
2. Turn the control knob clockwise to the desired position.
The display shows the setting that you have set and the cooking
zone heats up.
3. Press the timer button (a number of times).
The display shows ‘00.’ and a dot for the respective cooking
zone flashes.
4. Use the + key to set the time.
The timer will begin to count down after a few seconds.
5. The cooking zone will switch off automatically when the time
has elapsed.
A beep sounds and the dot for the respective cooking
zone and ‘00’ flash.
6. Turn the control knob to ‘0’ and press any button to switch off the
alarm signal.
▷
If multiple timers have been set, the display will show the time
of the timer that will run down next.
▷
If the cooking zone is still hot, the display will show the residual
heat indicator.
Child lock
Your induction hob is equipped with a childproof lock that lets you
lock the appliance. It prevents the cooking zones being switched on
unintentionally.
1. Simultaneously turn the control knobs for the left-front and right-
front cooking zones anticlockwise and leave the knobs in this
position for 4 seconds.
An ‘L’ will appear in the display for each cooking zone to show that
the child lock is now activated. After a few seconds, the hob will
switch to standby.
