VPN basic mechanisms
1 Overview
VPN is the acronym for « virtual private network » ; it is a mechanism
which allows to connect safely 2 networks together, or 1 remote PC and
one network, through a network eventually not intrinsically safe.

Once a VPN has been set between the two routers , any device of the
first network can communicate with any device of the second one as if the
two routers were directly connected with an Ethernet cable.
