Note About LED Fixtures
All LED sources experience some lessening of light output and some color shift over time.
Selador Series fixtures have complex thermal management systems to minimize these
changes. With typical usage, a Selador fixture will still achieve 70% of its initial output after
50,000 hours of use. In individual situations, LEDs will be used for different durations and
different levels. This can eventually lead to minor alterations in color performance,
necessitating slight adjustment to presets, cues, or programs.
All LEDs exhibit a slight color shift as their temperature rises from ambient to operating
temperature. This may or may not be visible to the eye. If this is a concern, a five to ten
minute warm up cue (all color channels at 100%, intensity channels at 50%) prior to
production can minimize this effect.
