11:6 Anti-tip, mounting
The anti-tip consists of two parts:
-
The attachment bar is mounted under the wheel mount (see illus).
-
The anti-tip bar is mounted at the desired height. (see illustration)
To allow you to negotiate thresholds and the edges of thick carpets, a dis-
tance of 3-7 cm from the floor to the stabiliser wheel is recommended.
Tools: 5 mm Allen key
After adjusting the seat height, centre of balance or backrest angle,
always ensure that you check the function of the anti-tip.
11:7 Headrest
The headrest is mounted onto the steering bar (option, see point 7:7).
The headrest is adjustable in height, depth and angle, and is detachable.
Assembly instructions are supplied with the headrest.
(!) Before the headrest is adjusted, ensure that the user has a good,
secure sitting posture.
Check the balance of the wheelchair when the user leans against
the headrest. We recommend the use of anti-tips.
