8-1-4 Replacement of VD-R assy, VD-L assy, LED board assy for lighting
right eyeball, LED board assy for lighting left eyeball, LED
harness for lighting eyeball and sensor relay harness
1) Remove the PD case F, and right LD case F and B (refer to 8-1-1).
2) Replace the VD-R assy after removing 2 fixing screws and LED board assy for lighting the
right eyeball. Pull and remove the board as the arrow shown on the left below when
removing the LED board assy for lighting the eyeball. Push the board in as the arrow
shown on the right below when placing the board.
3) Replace the LED board assy for lighting the right eyeball by pulling it out from the VD-R
assy after removing the VD-R assy and the LED harness for lighting the eyeball.
4) Replace the LED harness for lighting the eyeball after removing all of the connectors
connected.
5) Replace the sensor relay harness after removing all of the connectors connected.
6) Follow the procedures of 1), 2) and 3) when replacing the VD-L assy and the LED board
assy for lighting the left eyeball.
