MAGPRO-DBS
– Base with sounder
Use the functional buttons to set the following parameters:
(1) SOUND LEVEL
–
Every pressing of the button alternatively
changes the sound level between HIGH/ LOW
– as this depends on
the number of the connected sounders to the loop:
-
HIGH
– Set in those cases when
the number of the connected
sounders to the loop is up to 30
(sounders DBS and DBSS).

LOW
– Set in those cases when
the number of the connected
sounders to the loop is up to 100
(sounders DBS and DBSS).
(2) ON/ OFF LED
–
Press to switch on/ off the device LED.

(3) MODE

Press to choose the operation mode of the sounder:
SND
– Sounder activation only;
FLASH
– Flash indication only;
SND/ FLASH
– Both sounder and flash indication are active.
Attention:
It is possible to connect
different type of sounders to the loop at the same time, but the total consumption of
the sounders in the loop must be up to 300mA!
Note:
The automatic detectors mounted to bases DBS and DBSS are assigned at separate addresses in the control
panel!
To calculate the total consumption of the sounders in the loop and to define the proper sound level, you can use the
Table a below, as fill in the number of the used sounders according their type.
Table 1 for calculation of the total consumption of the sounders in the loop and defining the sound level:

HIGH Sound Level - Up to 30 sounders WS and WSS type; Up to 30 sounders DBS and DBSS type.

LOW Sound Level - Up to 60 sounders WS and WSS type; Up to 100 sounders DBS and DBSS type.
