Minor Troubleshooting Tips
Following are some easily resolved problems you may encounter during the installation
of your TuneBase 200 unit. If you are experiencing difficulties that do not appear in the
following list, please contact your dealer or call Escient.
No Power
TuneBase 200 may be plugged into an unswitched receptacle.
Power: but no video
Make sure TuneBase 200 is connected to the video source (television) before you power
on TuneBase 200. Make sure that the LED next to the Power button is not blinking.
Following is the Power ON/Standby sequence.
•
After the TuneBase 200 unit is plugged in, an LED located next to the power button will flash -
this flashing indicates the unit is starting the application. When it is finished flashing, the LED
will turn OFF. This means TuneBase 200 is now in a standby or “sleep” mode. You can now
press the Power button (on the front panel or on the remote) once and the display will appear
immediately.
•
To change from the ON mode back to the standby or “sleep” mode, press the Power button on
the front panel or on the remote once.
•
To reset the TuneBase 200 unit, PRESS and HOLD the Power button for more than 4 seconds
and release. The Power LED light will blink before turning OFF. When the light is OFF, you can
press the Power button on the front panel or on the remote.
